Having never seen it, and with so many friends talking about it, we are catching up on The Walking Dead. Last night we watched episodes 11 and 12 from season 2. Here are some current thoughts, having not seen the last episode of season 2 or any of season 3. Please don’t give any spoilers. I’ve already had a major spoiler get dropped by Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory, don’t need any more. Still wondering when that bomb will go off.
There will be at least one spoiler below, so don’t read on if you aren’t ready.
First a general observation: people have had tons of cuts and scrapes that get splashed by walker blood and guts, but they aren’t catching it. Is this an oversight so they can have awesome zombie deaths?
It seems that at the point where I am in the series that anyone who dies for any reason becomes a walker. Perhaps most of the people who are left are at least partially immune while still alive, and the pathogen is now in almost everyone and everything. That would explain the general observation above.
I had something else to say, but can’t remember it, so I may edit this when I remember.
