About two weeks ago, I dropped our trailer off at the dealership so they could finish all the warranty work and take care of a few things we wanted done outside warranty.

When I dropped it off, I walked around making sure I had gotten everything undone. On the way home, I stopped at Walmart to get a few things. When I came out of the store, I discovered that I’d forgotten to unplug one thing – the electrical pigtail. After a drive of 30 or so miles, most of it on the freeway, this is what was left of the end of the cable:

The good news – everything should get fixed on the trailer, and with luck, it’ll be done before our first big (10 day) camping trip in May to southern Utah.
