I think I really ought to dust off my carboys and other paraphernalia and see if I can brew up something greater than 3.2 percent. Haven’t touched it in years. Good thing I have a nice powerful outdoor stove – I don’t think Kathy would want the wort cooked up in the house.
According to the online yellow pages, the nice supply store called Mountain Brew on 27th and State may no longer exist. I guess I’ll be shopping around for another one.

There is another brew supply store on about 1250 S State Street on the West side. I think it’s called “The Beer Nut” or something. A friend of mine goes there to buy bottles and supplies for his home-made rootbeer.
mmm. homebrew. If you need a taste tester, I’ll gladly volunteer my taste buds.
